We proudly service Victoria, West Shore, Saanich, Sidney and the Saanich Peninsula. 
 

2.    What is Island Blanket and Laundry Care?

IBLC is a high quality laundry delivery service.  We specialize in the cleaning of blankets, comforters and down-filled duvets.  We also pick up household laundry and for people looking for personalized service, IBLC is the answer. 

 

3. What does Island Blanket and Laundry Care service include?

  • we pick up your laundry at your home or office

  • we sort your laundry

  • we wash your laundry using environmentally-friendly unscented soap and fabric softener of your choice

  • we hang dry any items that you don't want to go into the dryer

  • we meticulously fold your laundry

  • we package your laundry neatly

  • we deliver your laundry back to your home or office

4.  What times does Island Blanket and Laundry Care pick up and deliver?

We pick up and deliver Monday-Friday 10:00AM - 8:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM - 12:00PM.

 

5.  How long will it take to return my order?

Your cleaned order will be returned three days later.  For instance, if we pick up your order on Monday, your items will be returned cleaned on Thursday.  If you require your items to be returned the next day, we offer an EXPRESS service for an additional charge of $25.

 

6. How can I schedule a time for Island Blanket and Laundry Care to pick up my items?

7.  How should I prepare my blanket(s) or clothes to be picked up by Island Blanket and Laundry Care?
We require all blankets and clothing to be placed in a bag which closes.  (If needed, we sell laundry bags for $10.00 each). 

 

8.  Does Island Blanket and Laundry Care have a minimum service charge?

Yes, our minimum charge for an order is $49.99.

 

9.  Is there a delivery charge?

No, we offer a FREE pick up and delivery. 

 

10.  What forms of payment does Island Blanket and Laundry Care accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard and cash.  Drivers do not carry any change, so exact change is appreciated.

 

11.  Does Island Blanket and Laundry Care do drycleaning or pickup and dropoff to drycleaners?

No, we currently do not offer any drycleaning services or a pick up/dropoff service to drycleaners.

 

12. Does Island Blanket and Laundry Care do ironing?

Yes, IBLC does offer an ironing service.  Please see our pricing page for more information.  

 

13. Where is my laundry being cleaned?
Your laundry is being cleaned at a commercial laundry facility at 9832 Third Street in Sidney, BC.   

 
 

Terms and Conditions

There is a rescheduling fee of $25 if you are not home for a scheduled pick up or drop off appointment.

Payment is expected upon delivery of washed items.   If the customer is not able to pay at the time of delivery, the delivery will be rescheduled and the $25 fee will be applied. 

Any claims of missing clothes must be made within 48 hours of when the clothes are delivered.

Island Blanket and Laundry Service maximum liability for any missing or damaged clothing is equal to the total amount of the current bill.

Island Blanket and Laundry Service is not responsible for any wear and tear or discolouration that results from washing clothes.

Island Blanket and Laundry Service is not responsible for any damage to items which do not have care labels attached to them.  If they are a special care item and require specialized care, please tell us.
